Located near the entrance, the Hayden Information and Check Out Desk is readily visible and accessible. As the library’s primary service destination, staff provides immediate frontline customer service as the users’ first point of contact within the library. The Information and Check Out Desk is a supportive resource for users seeking general guidance accessing the library collection or may provide in-depth reference assistance. Staff performs a variety of functions, including or related to: check-in/out of material, research assistance, interlibrary loan, lost and found, Hayden pulls/Hayden pickups, retrieving holds and access to course reserves.
Always staffed, the Information and Check Out Desk hours are identical to that of library.
