Materials may be returned to any ASU Library location in the same state they were checked out. We cannot accept returns between our Arizona and California library locations. Please note, graduation does not affect an item's due date but you will not be able to renew materials after graduation.
Interior book returns are located near the Information and Check Out Desk at each library. If you are not able to come to an ASU campus, you may ship back to the library. We recommend using FedEx Ground service, which provides $100 default insurance. Please keep the tracking information in case there are questions about the returns.

Interior return required
Course resources
Course resource materials must be returned to the Information and Check Out Desk of the library where they were checked out.
Multimedia materials
Multimedia materials (DVD, VHS, etc.) must be returned to an ASU Library Information and Check Out Desk or Interior Media drop in order to prevent damage to the material due to severe heat or other heavier materials falling upon them.
Interlibrary loan
Interlibrary loan (ILL) materials must be returned to any ASU Library Information and Check Out Desk, except for the ASU Law Library.

Downtown Phoenix campus

Hayden Library at the top of the stairs to the courtyard, to the west of the elevator (map to Hayden Library)
Noble Library to the east of the front entrance (map to Noble Library)
Design and the Arts Library, outside the entrance to the library on the first floor of the Design North building. Building access is restricted to Design School students overnight. (map to Design North)
West Valley campus
Fletcher Library outside the east entrance. This book return is available only when Fletcher Library is closed.
