Creation Station

Creation Station is a collection of books that are here to help begin your creative journey from inception to reality. This collection also introduces you to information about different types of media that can be used and tools like 3D printers, laser cutters, sewing machines and so much more. The Creation Station collection is a roadmap to spark the imagination!


Data Science

Data science is an interdisciplinary field that applies the scientific method using processes, algorithms, and systems to extract valuable meaning and insights from data to tell a story. Anyone can learn and use data science! This collection includes examples of real-world applications, along with approachable insights to programming, statistical analysis, and data visualization. Whether you are new to data science concepts or have a well-developed technical background, the Data Science Collection provides a range of ideas and resources to help you on your data science journey.


Open Science

Open Science is defined as the principle and practice of making research products and processes available to all, while respecting diverse cultures, maintaining security and privacy, and fostering collaborations, reproducibility, and equity. The U.S. Office of Science and Technology Policy has declared 2023 the Year of Open Science with an increasing focus on education, outreach and advocacy. 

This collection contains recommended books on open science and reproducible research practices. With topics including Indigenous data governance, open access, research data management, scholarly publishing and more, the Open Science collection promotes a change in culture around transparent, accessible and responsible research.
