Featured collections

These collections have been designed and curated by library staff in collaboration with the ASU community to include books, journals, DVDs, and other selected materials available at ASU Library.

    Sun Devil Reads

    Inspired by the academic and personal interests of ASU students and faculty, we invite readers to browse these print book collections and discover something new to read.

    Location: Hayden Library, 2nd floor

    Scholars Enclave

    Includes multivolume works required for academic research that are most useful when consulted in print formats.

    Hayden Lobby Collection

    Books in this collection are selected by ASU students and staff representing a broad range of academic and personal interests, grouped by themes such as Graphic Novels, Utopias and Dystopias, and Film, to invite browsing and discovery.

    Labriola Collection

    The student-driven Labriola Open Stacks Collection of books, games, graphic novels, comic books, and select works of contemporary scholarship and literature by Indigenous scholars was informed by collaborations between Labriola Center staff and ASU’s American Indian Student Support Services (AISSS).

Concourse

The books on this floor were selected in conjunction with students and faculty to represent a wide range of reading interests and enhance the curriculum taught in Library classroom spaces.

2nd Floor Featured Collections

These community-curated collections were inspired by students and for students to encourage reading and foster lifelong learning. Also on this floor is Sun Devil Reads, comprised of popular fiction and nonfiction literature.

4th Floor Featured Collections

Around the floor, browse featured collections that highlight ASU scholarship and offer insight into printmaking and book design. This floor also features the Scholars Enclave, a hand-curated collection that redefines the traditional reference collection to feature works that are suited for in-person research.
