The end of the spring semester is here and finals are around the corner.

Do you need help with final research papers or a place to study? Here are a few of the extraordinary resources you have access to at the ASU Library that can help you succeed. You've got this, Sun Devils!

Ask a Librarian

Wherever you are in the world, Ask a Librarian online chat service can connect you with library professionals to answer questions, provide expert guidance and help you problem-solve! Find empathy and support that goes beyond simple search results. Ask follow-up questions in real-time to get the help you need.

Find a library location

All library locations are open during finals week. Check library hours for details on extended hours. Noble Library on the Tempe campus is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, starting April 20 through May 2.

There are quiet places to study in each library, as well as spaces that are perfect for working with groups. Need to reserve a study room? Each library offers a unique combination of open and enclosed study rooms. If you need a charger or calculator, check equipment out at the front desk.

One Search

One Search is a Google-like search engine that focuses your search on online-only resources provided by ASU. It is one of many tools the library offers; find hundreds of research databases and a custom link to Google Scholar. These will connect you with full-text sources that are available at the library.

Library Guides

From citation styles to literature reviews, the library has a guide for you. Find hundreds of library guides on a variety of topics. When writing a paper or beginning your research, these guides can point you to the best databases to use on any topic and show you exactly how to cite your sources.

Make time to destress

Take time for yourself during finals. Check out a board game or put together a puzzle. Access films and documentaries through the streaming services Kanopy and Films on Demand. Activate your free news subscriptions to the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal to browse articles and interviews. Follow the ASU Library’s Instagram for destress resources, events and Pet Grams for Wellness during finals week.

Remember, the library is here for you – and we want you to succeed. Relax, take a breath. You’ve got this.
