ASU Library has a policy of "No animals except for Service Animals".
Service animals are dogs or miniature horses that are individually trained to perform specific tasks for people with disabilities.
The owner of the animal may be asked: Is the dog/horse required because of a disability? What work or task has it been trained to perform?
Emotional Support Animals and Therapy Animals do not meet the ADA's definition of Service Animals.
