"The purpose of this workshop is to provide an introduction to R for learners working with geospatial data. Besides an introduction to R, the attendees will also learn how to open, work with, and plot vector and raster-format geospatial data. Attendees are not required to have previous knowledge of the tools that will be presented at the workshop, and all levels of learners are encouraged to attend."
