About the Design and the Arts Library

The Design and the Arts Library is located on the first floor of the Design North building.  This portion of the ASU Library collection focuses strongly on design subjects, including: architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, graphic design, industrial design, and urban planning.  The Design and the Arts Library houses approximately 50,000 books, journals, and media items, as well as a special collection of primary source materials and archival drawings.

Locating missing books or journal articles

If a needed item (book or journal) is not on the shelf, please ask at the library's Information & Check Out Desk. If the item is checked out or is missing, and you are an ASU student, faculty, or staff member, you may request a copy through Interlibrary Loan. If material is not checked out, you can initiate a search by requesting the item through Library One Search. When the material becomes available, you will be notified via your ASU email.
