The ASU FIDM Library is a specialized library that supports students’ curriculum through many unique resources. An appointment is not needed for currently enrolled students, faculty or staff. Otherwise, please call or email us to set up an appointment for your visit.

Students can swatch all fabrics and materials in the room, along with the ability to use or cut magazines, paint chips, AV material and acrylic, wood and metal slabs.

Alumni do not have access to trend books. However, alumni have access to trend magazines.

Using your personal device (e.g., laptop, cellphone, tablet, etc.), print documents with the Print Anywhere network.

Some course textbooks are available at the reference desk for on-site browsing and documentation.

The computers on campus are equipped with Adobe Creative Cloud, CLO, Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Runway resources can be found online in the WGSN database and on campus in the Collections books. 

Analog Google: prior to the Internet, librarians and library staff would “clip” articles and advertisements from newspapers and magazines that pertained to a subject (e.g., Gianni Versace, Dandies, Levi Strauss) and place the “clippings” in the subject’s “file.” Our clipping files include vintage articles and advertisements covering hundreds of fashion designers, manufacturers and aesthetics.

Fashion Future is a curated collection of innovative and sustainable products by international designers and manufacturers.

Search by entering keywords into the search bar at the top of the catalog site.

The advanced search function can help search materials by specific fields (e.g., author, subject, series, etc.) which helps narrow your search to retrieve relevant results.
