Requesting materials from ASU Library (AZS)
The ASU Library will lend eligible materials to academic, public and corporate libraries.
Requests for ASU Library materials should be submitted through OCLC WorldShare ILL using our symbol AZS.
Libraries without OCLC WorldShare ILL access should request materials using our online request form. Please note that libraries must request an account by emailing [email protected] before requesting materials.
Service standards
Requests will be updated to shipped or cancelled within four business days. Article and book chapter scans are delivered electronically. The status of your requests can be checked by logging into your ILLiad or OCLC WorldShare ILL account.
Loan period
- Returnables are loaned for 16 weeks.
- A one-month renewal may be granted on eligible materials.
- Recalled materials must be returned immediately.
Lost or damaged items
A minimum $150.00 charge will be assessed for materials lost or damaged beyond repair.
Loan charges by library type
- Arizona public libraries (city, county, college, university): Free
- Libraries with established reciprocal agreements: Free
- U.S. libraries: $20 IFM or $30 invoice
- International libraries: $50 IFM or 6 IFLA vouchers
PDF charges by library type
- Arizona public libraries (city, county, college, university): Free
- Libraries with established reciprocal agreements: Free
- U.S. libraries: $20 IFM or $30 invoice
- International libraries: $20 IFM or 2 IFLA vouchers
Billing methods
- Billing via OCLC IFM is preferred.
- If invoiced, libraries will receive an invoice via email following shipment of materials.
Payment methods
- Checks must be written in U.S. dollars
- Money order
- IFLA vouchers
Note: Electronic Fund Transfers (EFTs) and credit cards are not accepted.
