The inaugural title for Porch Publications' Inland Boat series, Cynthia Hogue's "Touchwood" is a collection of poetry dedicated to Shiela Zamora. Hogue's memorably inventive poems introduce a little bit of "relativity" not to be discredited in poetry now that scientists are proceeding to measure the universe on principals of pure ratio quite as metaphorical and mysterious as the axioms in Job.
Bio
Cynthia Hogue is professor emeritus of English at Arizona State University, where she held the Maxine and Jonathan Marshall Chair in Modern and Contemporary Poetry.
