This proposal is open to ambivalent cultural dialogue. It opens a space for critical reflection that, transcending the limits of an increasingly closed geopolitical frontier, seeks to broaden the understanding of cross-border cultural phenomena. It's authors go beyond the usual categories of literary criticism to enter a field that demands more innovative and proactive perspectives of analysis. This is where the bi-borderlands concept becomes important and becomes a useful tool to influence the joint study of Chicano and northern Mexican literature.
