Events and Exhibits

The Map and Geospatial Hub hosts multiple events and exhibits each year. Keep reading below to learn more.

Our current Events and Exhibits are streamed from ASU Events to the right. You can also register for them directly on the Map and Geospatial Hub Eventbrite page

Tours

Tours of the Hub's resources and collections are offered every semester. They're free and open to the public.

Exhibits

One of the ways we highlight the historic, scientific, and aesthetic value of our map collection is by curating map exhibits, or collaborating with others to host their exhibits. Some examples of recent and on-going exhibits, including:

Creative Cartography

Guest Speakers

Speakers from across ASU, the greater metro Phoenix area, and beyond visit us to share their insights on maps, geospatial technology, and other related topics.

GIS Day

GIS Day is our annual geospatial extravaganza. The event typically features guest speakers from across the ASU and broader communities, as well as a range of demonstrations and other hands-on activities.
