Nancy Godoy
Nancy Liliana Godoy is Head of the Community-Driven Archives (CDA) Initiative at Arizona State University (ASU) Library and the Associate Archivist of the Chicano/a Research Collection since 2012. She has received grants from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the Arizona State Library to engage and empower historically marginalized communities in Arizona. Godoy is the recipient of the Arizona Humanities Rising Star Award (2017), ASU Catalyst Award (2019), Arizona Library Association’s Outreach Services Award (2019), and Library Journal’s Movers and Shakers Award (2020).

Jessica Salow
Jessica Salow is the Assistant Archivist of Black Collections at Arizona State University (ASU) Library. Prior to her current role, she was a Specialist with the Community-Driven Archives (CDA) Initiative at ASU Library. She obtained her Masters in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from the University of Arizona and is an alumna of Arizona State University. Her current work focuses on specialized reference and instruction as well as creating a robust collection of primary and secondary resources that document the lived experiences of Black people living and thriving in the state of Arizona.

Lorrie McAllister
Lorrie McAllister is the Associate University Librarian for Collections Services & Analysis at ASU Library. She is a senior administrator at ASU Library responsible for the Collections Services and Analysis directorate. She brings her interest in community, information literacy, and technology to this initiative. She holds a B.F.A. in Fine Arts from the Art Institute of Chicago and a M.L.I.S. From Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois and is an enrolled member of the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma.

Alex Soto
Alex Soto (Tohono O’odham) is director of the Labriola National American Indian Data Center at Arizona State University (ASU) Library. Under his leadership, the Labriola Center has implemented culturally informed library research support services and Indigenized ASU’s community-driven archives initiative for tribal communities.
