Accessibility Services - Hayden Library

The Accessibility Services room in Hayden Library

The Accessibility Services room is located on the Concourse level of Hayden Library.

To reach the Concourse Level, use the stairs or the elevator (located to the left of the stairs) to go from the Mall down to the courtyard at Concourse level. Cross the courtyard to the front doors directly across from the stairs. After entering the front doors, cross the tiled lobby, and pass through the entrance gates. When you enter the gates, walk about ten paces, and turn 90 degrees to the left. You will be facing the Accessibility Services room. Proceed approximately forty paces ahead, passing the restrooms on the left and the library workstations on the right. Enter Accessibility Services through the automatic sliding door.

Fall 2020 updates

To ensure physical distancing, the specialized equipment in the room will be made available to one patron at a time by appointment only. Please stop by the Hayden Information Desk or call 480-965-3605 to schedule an appointment.

Please note, the room will not be available for general study purposes. If you need a quiet study space on the Tempe campus, we recommend the silent study room on the 2nd floor of Noble Library.

Although the Accessibility Services room will not be staffed in person during the Fall 2020 semester, we are happy to make an appointment to speak with you. Please contact us at 480-965-0573 or
