This #archivesglow series highlights submissions from people within the Arizona State University (ASU) Library and the Community-Driven Archives (CDA) team as well as community members who would like to reflect on their experience and feelings they had during CDA events which we like to label as an #archivesglow moment. This submission comes from me, Jessica Salow, Archives Specialist for the CDA project here at ASU Library. Please enjoy.

The CDA team held its first virtual Show & Tell event on April 1, 2020 with 23 members of our community in attendance. This Show & Tell event provided so many #archivesglow moments in a time when COVID-19 has changed many things for a lot of people. During the Show & Tell event I had the opportunity to show the movie ticket stub from the very first movie my partner and I attended as a couple over 20 years ago. This ticket represents so much to me and how much my relationship with my partner has defined my life. So with that, my #archivesglow moment was seeing so many people smile during the event and sharing their own stories regarding cherished memories of relationships that have impacted their lives like the one I have with my partner. It fills my heart with so much joy to have that type of impact on people just by showing a movie ticket that I have carried around with me for over 20 years. So thank you to everyone who attended our event on April 1, 2020 and my team for providing the space to share this precious memory with others. The CDA team would like to thank everyone who attended our first virtual Show & Tell event on April 1, 2020 and would like to announce that we will be continuing these virtual Show &Tell’s for the month of April. Please keep an eye out for an upcoming announcement regarding the dates and times of these virtual Show & Tell events. movie ticket from 1997
