Standard Fines & Fees for Books & CDs


Patron Type

Privilege Suspension & Associated Charges

Faculty & Academic Professionals
  • Privileges suspended 31 days after due date
  • $10.00 billing fee plus replacement cost* after 91 days overdue

Staff & Students
  • Privileges suspended 31 days after due date
  • $10.00 billing fee plus replacement cost* after 61 days overdue

Community Card holders
  • $10.00 billing fee plus replacement cost* after 31 days overdue

 

Other Fines/Fees

Type of Fine/Fee Associated Charges
Recall $10.00 for each recall not returned on or before the Recall Due Date.  Replacement cost* added after 26th day overdue.
Reserves $1.00 per hour up to $20.00 per item plus the replacement cost*.
Fines accrue 24 hours a day whether the library is open or not.
Damaged Item Rebinding:  $15.00
Replacement:  Cost of item plus a $15.00 processing fee.  $10 late fee charged where applicable.
Other items Ask at Circulation.

 

*Replacement cost is dropped when item is returned undamaged.

 

REFUND FOR PAID COST OF REPLACEMENT CHARGE

A full cost of replacement will be refunded if library material is returned in good condition within six moths of payment.  A partial refund (minus $15.00 for processing) will be refunded when material is returned in good condition within six months to a year of payment. NO REFUNDS AFTER ONE YEAR.
