The ASU Libraries will have special reduced hours during the upcoming Fourth of July holiday weekend:

Friday July 3: Hayden Library on the Tempe campus will be open from 9am-5pm.  All other ASU Libraries will be closed.

Saturday July 4:  All ASU Libraries on all campuses will be closed.

The libraries will resume regular summer hours on Sunday July 5.

Hayden Library will be open 24/7 during finals.  Opening at 10am on Sunday May 3, Hayden will not close for ASU students again until the evening of Wednesday May 13.

All students in the library after midnight will be asked to show their SunCard or other photo identification.

Beginning Wednesday December 10th, the foyer of the Polytechnic campus Library will remain open for 24-hour study. Although the library will retain regular operating hours during finals, the foyer on the east side of the building will remain open through the evening of December 16th.  Additional study spaces will be provided.

Hayden Library will extend its regular hours to be open 24/7 through the end of finals.

Hayden will not close again until 7pm on Thursday December 18.

The ASU Libraries will have adjusted hours over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend:

All libraries will resume normal operating hours on Saturday November 29.

Open All Night

During the fall and spring semesters, the Hayden Library is open twenty four hours a day, Sunday mornings through Friday midnight. The 24/5 schedule for the fall 2008 semester begins on Sunday August 24. Overnight hours are restricted to ASU students, faculty and staff, who are required to show identification to be in the building between midnight and 7am.

Hayden Library is also open from 9am – 5pm on Saturday this weekend.

The Downtown Phoenix campus is welcoming both academic programs and a new residence hall this fall. To reflect the increased needs of the Downtown student community, the Library at the Downtown Phoenix campus is extending its regular semester hours this year. Starting Monday August 25, the Library (located in the Information Commons on the Lower Level of the University Center) will be open until midnight four days a week (Sundays – Thursdays).

The Luhrs Reading Room on Level 4 of Hayden Library will be closed for remodeling on Saturdays June 14th, 21st, 28th, July 5th and July 12, 2008. Materials from any of our repositories will not be available during the days the reading room is closed.

The Luhrs Reading Room will resume Saturday afternoon hours on July 19th, 2008.
