You’ll see how you can utilize your My ASU dashboard to directly search Google Scholar or one of five other important databases, without leaving My ASU. You can also search inside the library catalog for books and other materials, log into your library account to renew books and check on your holds, and much more!
Watch the streaming video or download it to learn about all of these dynamic features.
Need quality information fast? Our librarians can get you started right away. This week Anali introduces you to the ASU Libraries’ LibGuides.
LibGuides are resources handpicked by our subject librarians covering a wide variety of subjects and courses taught at Arizona State University. Because they list only the best items for your subject, they can save you lots of time sorting by getting you right to what you need. They also provide quick contact information for the subject librarian for each one — so you can quickly get help from an expert in that area.
This week Anali talks about RefWorks, a bibliographic citation manager which allows you to create a personal database of the references you use for your research. Refworks allows you to import and organize citations from research databases, the libraries catalog and Google Scholar all in one place.
Refworks also works with Write-N-Cite to help you include your citations as you are writing papers in Microsoft Word.
Have you ever found the perfect book or article for your research paper only to discover the ASU Libraries do not have it? Fear not! Anali Perry will explain how Interlibrary Loan can get that article or book for you from libraries all over the world
