Chat LIVE With ASU Libraries
On Monday August 25, the ASU Libraries launched a new version of our popular “Ask a Librarian Chat” service. This new version for 2008-2009 involves a much simpler interface, and the service will be provided 100% by ASU Libraries staff on the four campuses.
This new version of Ask a Librarian utilizes a simple box that appears on our “Help” page (see image to the left). Just type in your question in the box and you’ll connect with the first available library staff member. It’s that simple.
The Ask a Librarian Chat is now available from 9am-5pm each day. When there’s no librarian available, send us an e-mail and we’ll reply to your question as soon as we can.
Once you try it, tell us what you think via our Suggestion Box!

I remember that ASU used to give out an ASU directory of all the addresses and telephone numbers of students and staff. I was wondering if they have those available still. I wanted to see if my information was there and what other information was in the book.
While there is an ASU print directory, it only has contact information for ASU departments and staff. If you would like to view one of those, you could stop by the Information Desk at the Memorial Union, or one of our libraries.
The online directory for ASU does have some information about faculty, staff and students. To view this information click on the “directory” link at the top of any ASU web page.
